Our Theme in district 2T3 for 2016 – 17 will be “Feel the Love”. As Lions we do so much to help others in line with our motto “We Serve”, that we might forget to pause and reflect on why we choose to do all that we do. Could it be that we act out of a sense of “Love” for the world around us and the people in it?

Perhaps without even thinking we respond to the calls for help – spoken or unspoken – out of a sense of unity with those in need and with the full knowledge that “there but for the grace of God, go I”. In any event, let’s all take a few moments each day to “Feel the Love” that comes from those we help, as well, perhaps more importantly, the love we ourselves feel in doing what we do.

When we can “Feel the Love” within our service as Lions, it is so much easier to tell perspective members the benefits of serving as Lions.
