A service opportunity was presented to the Leo Club members at San Marcos Academy; it will focus on the Hays County Brown Santa project this November and December. Lieutenant Dennis Gutierrez (also San Marcos Lions Club President) explained how students can help Hays County citizens in need. (It was the 50’s day and the 50th day of school, thus the strange clothes.) The Leo Club will partner with the San Marcos Academy Ambassadors and JROTC. Ways the students can help include a new toy drive, supplying wrapping paper, help wrap gifts, and a canned food drive.
