I am very pleased that the Council of Governors for 2016-2017 will continue the re-MEMBER TEXAS membership program. We will be asking all Texas Lions to RECRUIT new members, REBUILD & EXTENSION through involvement and service, AND RETAIN our membership with a focused approach in meeting and caring for our lion members in each club.

As we approach OUR CENTENNIAL YEAR, Texas Lions will celebrate in different ways reflecting on our association of lions clubs and its impact each club has had in their community.

The BIG CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION involves each lion member’s commitment (RECRUIT) to ask your fellow community members to join us to increase SERVICE and the impact that it cares in meeting the needs of less fortunate people in our local communities. Your club membership makes the difference in your community!

The BIG CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION focuses on (REBUILD & EXTENSION) increasing the FELLOWSHIP that each lion member brings to the club and in turn brings the best in each lion member to work together for a common cause in bringing a smile to a child, a new pair of eyeglasses, or a scholarship to a high school student. Your club membership makes the difference in your community!

The BIG CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION engages each lion member to (RETAIN) our membership with caring and compassionate commitment. Bring the best in each lion member to feel the desire to help and increase (SERVICE). Your club membership makes the difference in your community!

I have asked each District Governor to focus their time and effort in their district and bring the BIG CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION and work the re-MEMBER TEXAS membership Program. Each District Governor will be remembered by the approach, involvement, and work in their district. Bring the BIG CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION to TEXAS with an increased in MEMBERSHIP, LEADERSHIP, FELLOWSHIP, and SERVICE! Your club membership makes the difference in your community!
